Explore the innovative ideas that are shaping the future of carbon-free mobility at the Drive to Zero Innovation Awards, supervised by a panel of experts representing every area of mobility.

Who can apply? Any company, whether or not exhibiting at Drive to Zero, that has marketed its innovation from May 2021.

1/ Collective transport (of people) and transit

To reward innovations that revolutionise public transport or transit solutions, offering sustainable and efficient alternatives to meet people's travel needs. :
  • Vehicles and equipment
  • Passenger services (travel information, itineraries, trip analysis and diagnostics, networking, ticketing, etc.)
  • Multimodal connections
  • etc.)

2/ Active modes

To reward initiatives that promote environmentally-friendly modes of transport such as walking, cycling or other forms of soft mobility, encouraging a healthy and environmentally-friendly lifestyle:
  • Manufacture of cycles and equipment
  • Services (distribution, repair, maintenance, packaging, hire, training, cycle fleet management)
  • Intermediate vehicles
  • Solutions for leisure and tourism
  • Etc.

3/ Vehicle technology and innovation

To reward innovators who are shaping the future of mobility through technological and mechanical advances that improve vehicle performance, efficiency and durability:
  • Powertrains
  • Materials
  • Batteries
  • Vehicle systems
  • Recycling and circular economy
  • Etc.

4/ Mobility services and supports

To reward innovations in the field of mobility services or related media, highlighting solutions that facilitate travel, improve the user experience and optimise transport services:
  • Data management and control tools for organisations
  • Mobile applications and mobility aids and offers for travellers

5/ Long distance freight and urban logistics

To reward innovators in the long-distance freight and urban logistics sector, highlighting innovative approaches to reducing environmental impact while optimising the efficiency of supply chains:

6/ Infrastructure & Energy

To reward entries that focus on infrastructure transformation and the integration of innovative energy solutions, helping to build a more sustainable and energy-efficient transport ecosystem:

7/ Infrastructures & Facilities

To reward those who are rethinking urban planning and transport infrastructure, celebrating initiatives shaping urban environments that are more sustainable, accessible and adapted to the changing needs of mobility:
  • Roads, cohabitation and cycling and walking facilities
  • Parking
  • Safety and signage
  • Traffic management
  • Multimodal areas and organisations

SELECTION OF WINNERS

Application phase: until 11:59AM on 6 May

Only innovations marketed by the applicant for the first time in the last 12 months preceding the 2024 edition of Drive to Zero will be accepted.

Examination of entries and scoring of innovations

A panel of specialists made up of representatives of Drive to Zero's institutional partners and/or industry experts will examine and score the innovations, categorised according to evaluation criteria.
Selection of finalist and winning innovations

The 5 innovations with the highest scores in each category will be selected for review and discussion at a joint meeting of the jury members.

Announcement of winners and prize-giving ceremony: 28 May 2024 on Drive to Zero

This ceremony will be open to all: visitors, exhibitors, partners and contestants.
