INNOVATE, TEST,

DECARBONIZED
MOBILITY
Philippe Tabarot, Minister of Transport, delivered the opening address of Drive to Zero 2026 on June 2.
At a time when the decarbonization of mobility is entering a phase of operational acceleration, his presence at the opening of the event underscored the strategic importance of the issues highlighted by the exhibition: the large‑scale deployment of infrastructure, the coordination of public and private stakeholders, and the need to make alternatives to combustion‑engine mobility accessible across all territories.

Two days of conferences to turn decarbonized mobility into reality
Drive to Zero 2026 offered a program designed to address a central question: how can we move from announcements and targets to concrete, funded projects deployed sustainably in the field?
Over two days, conferences, workshops and demonstrations highlighted practical solutions to accelerate large‑scale deployment: charging infrastructure, fleet electrification, decarbonized logistics, mobility in low‑density areas, infrastructure financing, European energy and industrial sovereignty, and the adaptation of road and urban networks to new uses.
The 2026 edition also gave significant space to feedback from local territories and to projects already deployed on the ground, with the ambition of sharing reproducible, operational and immediately actionable solutions for both public and private stakeholders.
Designed as a true hub for innovation and deployment, the 2026 program was structured around major strategic priorities:
- Deploy decarbonized mobility
- Finance and govern the transition
- Adapt infrastructure and territories
- Promote inclusive and resilient mobility
- Strengthen European industrial and energy sovereignty
